Graduation is an exciting milestone, a time for celebration, new beginnings, and in many cases, a newfound sense of freedom behind the wheel. As proud parents watch their teens cross the stage, many are also handing over car keys and waving goodbye as their grads drive off into their next chapter.

At Artio Traffic Protection, we’re celebrating this season of achievement by reminding families how important it is to talk about road safety with new drivers. Statistically, young drivers face a higher risk of accidents, especially in the months following graduation when excitement, travel, and distractions increase.

Here are a few tips to help your graduate stay safe:

  • Buckle Up, Always: No exceptions. Seat belts save lives.

  • Limit Night Driving: Most teen crashes happen after dark. Set boundaries for late-night trips.

  • No Phones While Driving: Remind them — no text is worth a life.

  • Watch the Speed: Encourage calm, confident driving — not fast or aggressive moves.

  • Stay Sober: One mistake under the influence can change everything.

Your graduate’s safety is worth the conversation. As they begin their new journey, let’s make sure it starts — and stays — on the right path.

From all of us at Artio Traffic Protection, congrats to the Class of 2025! Drive safe, and enjoy the road ahead.
